Overall: 4.5 Customer service (Housekeeping, Food Distribution, Cashier/Philhealth/Billing/ Admitting): 5/5 Facilities: 4/5 One of the best hospitals I have ever been to, their best services come with automated and real-time billing and payment services. There is a kiosk where you can see your billing in real time without going to the billing department, ATMs just near the billing. When it comes to room facilities, I think that's for their improvement due to lack of funding but that's okay for the meantime since the maintenance people are easy to call. Rates are also competitive compared to high end hospitals. Would definitely reconsider for other medical services. đź‘Ť

My relative was confined in this hospital for four days. In those four days, her doctor only visited her twice but charged us P8,000 as PF. Nurses only came in when called--via phone because the nurse call button was cut. We were monitoring our patient's fever ourselves. I've reviewed the bill and there were questionable charges as well like gloves, tape etc. It's not as if the nurses finished all of those supplies but we were charged for the whole amount nonetheless. This would have been okay if the excess supplies were given to the patient upon discharge. ER charges were unreasonable as well. There were only three patients when we came in yet the whole process of admitting the patient took 2 hours, meanwhile incurring more and more charges in the ER. But the worst part of the experience was requiring the patient to have a companion for the purpose of having someone actually take care of the patient. Doesn't that negate the purpose of going to the hospital? You go to a hospital to get medical treatment and care. But it seemed like we were only there for the convenience of having labs done and having IV fluids--which to be honest can be done at home--because the actual care of the patient came from the companion. In effect, companions need to miss work to take care of the patient. For as long as the patient is confined, they miss the opportunity to earn money--which they need in the first place to be able to pay for the high hospital bill. It's an oppressive system. This set-up would have been forgivable if companions had a comfortable bed if they are required to be with the patient 24/7. But no, they are only given a plastic chair. And even if we get the private room, a companion is still required. People go to private hospitals for better service, but it seems like the only difference between DLSMC and a public hospital is that this hospital has aircon. What a waste of hard-earned money.

AVOID THEIR ER. They will give you test and procedures that has nothing to do with what you came for. Pregnancy Test and CT Scan for cough and sore throat?! Come on! Stop scamming people! If you really must visit them, always ask and check first what they want to do. If it's irrelevant, just SAY NO! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

I went there to get my circumsicion done on 10 july 2023 the doctor was Mary Grace Rojas I am 27 years adult. My experience is worst till now Firstly. Doctor never told me what she going to do or what she did or what is the procedure of the surgery even till now i am unaware of what she did. Then after my surgery done half of the wound was open already like after few hours. She didn’t told me that the stitches are not self dissolving. I was told to come back to check up again after one week which was july 17. Then doctor told me i am not available till next week. And she didn’t even reply after that. Then i called her so many times and she told me to come at her clinic. Appointment Time was 10 am and she get there approximately 1pm. She cut my stitches and told me we are done Then I showed her 2 more stitches there because i was the one seeing them everyday waiting for them to dissolve. It can be imagined if we don’t remove stitches more than two weeks they hide somewhere there. Anyway when i came back home i found two more stitches and cut them on my own that same night. But you know what after three weeks on 29th july I found another stitch hahaha my gawd i am so pissed right now i wanna sue her please someone suggest me something. I have a video of me removing my own stitches. And waiting for more stitches to be showen in the future. Can’t imagine myself founding another stitch when i am 80 years old.

I traveled for more than two thousand miles from Chuuk, Micronesia for medical treatment. My first time in the philippines and first time ever to be admitted in a hospital. Coming here wasn’t easy, I was worried & scared, not knowing what to expect and how to handle hospital procedures and everything, however my experiences here at the DE LOS SANTOS MEDICAL CENTER was one in a million. One I will not forget for years. For that I have many people to thank, many who their names I do not remember and I apologize for that. To name a few, I would like to start off with the very first person I met at the airport, Ms. Ana Guilot. My doctors Mr. Natalio Alegre, Mr. Teodoro Ramos & all the doctors, Nurse Isabel (Ysa), Nurse She, and all the nurses from the 3rd floor. The staffs in the cardio department, Ms. Cheng from the respiratory department and Mr. “I grew up in the Middle East” again, I apologize I don’t remember everybody’s names. Thank you all so much for taking amazing care of me during my stay. To the lovely ladies & gentlemen, the custodians for maintaining the cleanliness of the room I stayed in for a week, as well as the kitchen staffs for making sure we have our meals on time and not to forget the securities for doing their job making us feel safe especially during night time. Each one of you regardless of what positions you hold, all of you provide services that contributes to making my stay enjoyable & peaceful. I know Thank you isn’t enough but I have to say it anyway. From my heart to yours’ THANK YOU all so much, Salamat & Kinisou chapur. God bless you all.

Taga sumingil ang mga doctor sa confined patient: P7K to P11K per silip. Around double the room rate which is not the standard practice. Don't expect them to even stay 3 minutes to reassure or to enlighten you, the relative. And expect them to try to budol you into going for the most expensive often futile interventions just to prolong a terminally ill patient's suffering. Pa-intubate natin? Pa-MRI ang brain dead? A P5000/day room doesn't even have visitors' chairs--just the patient's bed and a narrow, thinly upholstered bench for the bantay. Bahala kayo magsiksikan dito kung may bisita. This is very more of a business than a humanitarian service. Don't trust these money-grubbing hypocrites who honor the Hippocratic Oath in the breach. Pahirapan pa to get the lab and other test results. Nurses and medical records no help.
